Dr. Carola Hullin, President of International Medical Informatics Association for Latin America (IMIA-LAC), Dr. Marco Antonio Gutierrez, President of Brazilian Society of Health Informatics (SBIS), Alan David March, President of The Argentina Medical Informatics Association (AAIM) and Dr. Carlos Arteta Molina, President at The Colombian Association of Informatics in Health (ACIESA) will orate on best practices, challenges and success stories on some of the biggest on going and completed projects that they have undertaken.

The common challenges and the complex problems a Healthcare CIO and IT organizations face are compounded by hurdles in leveraging technology efficiently and effectively to improve patient care and yet maintain profitability. The current inter-regional environment for Healthcare IT and it's future, mobile technologies, wearable devices, the implications of the cloud, eHealth and the coming of age in Health Informatics are some of the topics that will be covered through highly focused yet highly interactive sessions over both days.

The summit has been tailored to provide implementable strategies and solutions to the key challenges in the Healthcare Information systems in Latin America.
